Together, we will accelerate the journey of under-served and intersectional women into positions of leadership and influence, strengthening the economic sustainability and self-reliance of women globally.
We contribute to UN Sustainable Development Goals 4, 5, 8, 10, 17.

WWS is a global mentoring pathway
.We connect experienced women mentors from diverse industry sectors with emerging leaders — many from underserved, migrant, and refugee communities across the Global South and beyond — creating spaces for personal and professional growth and development and cross-cultural connection.
Through our levers of Education, Empowerment, and Exposure, we help women develop Self-Leadership, Insights and Agency, equipping them to rise confidently to their potential, lead with courage and conviction, and create pathways for others to rise.

Our Founder
Sahera Sumar is a global leadership consultant, facilitator, coach, mentor, author and keynote speaker. She has worked with hundreds of leaders in 20+ countries on leadership and culture solutions that develop authentic, emotionally intelligent, human-centred leaders. She holds a Master of Organizational Coaching Psychology, specialises in neuro-leadership and positive psychology.

About Us
Sahera's Story
The world today is facing a “GLC “: a global leadership crisis, as we desperately look towards our leaders for vision and inspiration only to be disappointed time and again. I believe the answer is within each one of us to step into leadership, find our passion, and live with courage and conviction so that we can all positively impact our world and inspire others to be the best of themselves. Through self-leadership and leading from the “Inside–out”, ordinary people find the power to achieve extraordinary things, however big or small the contribution.
I founded “Arete: Full Potential” (Arete: to achieve your potential through your Purpose) to fulfill my mission of creating Leaders for a Better world in corporate and community. This corporate leadership consulting firm has taken me around the world -
Africa, Central and South East Asia, and Europe designing and delivering high potential and executive leadership programs, organizational culture change & diversity programs and solutions supporting leaders realise their full potential. I have worked with NGOs, International Development organisations, civil society organisations - on projects with the World Bank, WHO, World Food program, Aga Khan development Network to strengthen and scale their impact through effective leadership and culture solutions. Projects which have taken me to Kenya (my birthplace) Uganda, Nigeria, Senegal, Kyrgyz Republic, Tajikistan. and so many more.
With Vision and Courage, I have now taken my 15+ years of global corporate experience to the Social Impact start-up sector - Launching Worldwide SHEroes - the biggest adventure taking me full circle as I connect my global network with my passion for women’s empowerment and leadership, so we can collectively rise to our potential, supporting the next generation and under-served women to do the same. Our Mission is to see more women of diversity and intersectionality in positions of leadership so they can influence their world and drive greater social progress ...contributing to the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
